Patients can use this service to apply for a health card, the owner of which is eligible to receive medical care at EHS facilities. The Emirates ID and health insurance policies are linked, thus citizens of the UAE can use their Emirates ID as a health insurance card in a hospital or clinic. Residents can reportedly use their Emirates ID to verify the status of their health insurance. People can use it to learn more about the benefits and network of coverage their health insurance policies offer.
